Sports and other Activities
Coverwise policies provide cover for you to participate in over 100 sports and activities
as standard whilst on your trip. This enables you to get the most out of your holiday
in the knowledge that you are properly protected in the event of a claim as long
as you comply with local laws and regulations, as well as using the recommended
safety equipment (such as helmets, harness, knee and/or elbow pads).
If you select and pay for a winter sports policy you will also be covered for an
extensive list of winter sport activities, including off-piste skiing and snowboarding
without the need for a guide unless outside the defined boundaries of a resort within
the United States of America or Canada, cat skiing and non-FIS ski racing.
Please note that personal liability and personal accident cover is excluded from
sports and activities marked with a * on both the sports and activities covered
as standard and those covered if the winter sports premium has been paid.
Please also be aware that there is no cover for your participation in or practice
of any professional sport or your participation at a training camp designed specifically
to enhance your performance and/or endurance in a sport or activity that you take
part in on a non-professional basis but at a National Standard.
